Being invited means that all of these costs should be covered by the convention and not the guest. This might be different for a smaller local convention or if you instead ask for a booth, where you can earn some money yourself to make the trip worthwhile. Going to a convention usually involves booking a flight or driving there, getting a hotel room for the weekend and of course we also all need food.
